YAN completes pilot with major automotive OEM

YAN successfully completed a 6 month pilot program for a major passenger vehicle manufacturer.

This program targeted an SUV engine prioritized for future growth.

The D-Cycle was successful in driving an over 20% savings for the engine at full load and therefore a substantial savings for the standardized drive-cycle.

YAN proves success in two part pilot program with large heavy-duty diesel OEM

Over the last 18 months, YAN has completed two programs with a major heavy-duty diesel engine company.  The goals of the program were to determine performance output and design a minimally invasive conversion of one of the OEMs best-selling existing engines for production.

The program examined using both single cam and cam switching technologies to actuate the D-Cycle piston.

Results included :

10% increase in full load power output

20% fuel efficiency increase in low-end operation

The OEM partner conducted a separate business case study for market position. They concluded this technology would result in a 10% increase in market share
